Presenting Young, in Interviews and on the Job

On Friday, I appeared (for a few brief moments) on the "Today" show to talk about ways to shed years from your resume when you're over 40 and fear that your age might be an obstacle to getting noticed or hired. The segment was built around the story of Lisa Johnson Mandell, a 49-year-old entertainment reporter who was profiled in The Wall Street Journal when she jump-started her job search by removing old jobs and dates from her resume, updating her appearance and creating a well-designed video blog.
